How Jeff Bezos Wins While Other CEOs Fail

Maybe you have wondered before…

How the heck did a computer nerd from Albuquerque, New Mexico become the richest man in the world?

As of 2018, Jeff Bezos makes more than $28,000… every 10 seconds.

Thats how much most people make in a year…

So what exactly did he do that allowed Amazon to become the business sucking typhoon that it is today?

How did this nerdy guy become a tyrannical online ruler that sails the 7 seas and takes names?

I mean really…

He looks like the equivalent of a nice next door neighbor whose favorite activities are sipping lemonade and mowing the lawn.

So how did he get to where he is today?

No, its not because he is an alien from another planet. (Although maybe you can verify this at your local Scientology center)

No, his focus is actually quite singular and surprisingly simple.

Two words.  Customer obsession.

So seriously, what the heck does this mean?  Stop speaking in riddles right?

Or maybe you’re thinking – does he stalk his customers on social media, preying on their habits and trying to find out what they talk about so he can sell them that?

Well, to be honest, I don’t know if he actually does that.  His private life I hope isn’t that creepy…

To be more precise, what customer obsession really is, is the flexible nature of this company to his customer. He takes customer complaints very seriously and does everything to satisfy customers.

Because of this obsession with customer happiness, word of mouth spreads like wildfire and customers are more than happy to share the brand and continue buying from him FOR LIFE.

Lets take a step back for a moment.

What can we learn from Bezos?

Is your business obsessed with the customer?  Or is it more like other businesses that are more focused on one-upping competitors?

The fact that most businesses are stagnant today or spinning their wheels trying to stay ahead of the curve says something about the focus of their business.

There’s no shame if your business is focused on competitors.  In fact, most companies focus on that because they don’t want to lose what they got.

But what if being obsessed with your customer helps you stay ahead of your competitors anyway?

And what if having this obsession about your customers will get you to the highest level possible in your business?
